One place for every focus session

25Mint Focus brings our free productivity tools together in one app: the classic Pomodoro timer with 25/5 and 50/10 presets, a focus sounds mixer, a guided box-breathing exercise for your breaks, private focus stats with daily streaks, and a simple task list that counts a 🍅 for every session you finish.

Focus sounds & white noise for studying

The Sounds tab is a free white noise machine for studying that runs entirely in your browser. Mix five ambient layers to mask distractions: brown noise (deep and rumbly — the internet's favourite for ADHD focus and deep work), pink noise (softer than white, closer to steady rainfall), classic white noise, rain sounds and ocean waves. Each slider works independently, so you can layer rain over brown noise for a stormy-library feel. Your mix is remembered for next time.

Brown noise vs white noise: brown noise concentrates energy in low frequencies, which many people find less fatiguing over long study sessions; white noise spreads energy evenly and is better at masking chatter in noisy spaces like cafés or open offices. Try brown noise first for solo deep work, white noise when you need to drown out voices.

Box breathing: a 4-4-4-4 reset between sessions

The Breathe tab guides you through box breathing — inhale for 4 seconds, hold for 4, exhale for 4, hold for 4 — with a calm expanding-circle animation. Used by athletes and military teams to settle the nervous system, one or two 16-second cycles between Pomodoros clears mental residue from the last task so you start the next one fresh. It's also a quick way to break the reach-for-your-phone reflex during breaks.

    Focus stats, streaks and tasks

Every completed focus session is logged automatically: sessions today, focus minutes today, lifetime totals, and a daily streak that grows each day you show up. Add what you're working on in the Tasks tab, mark one task active, and each finished Pomodoro adds a 🍅 to it — a simple, satisfying record of where your attention actually went. All stats live in your browser's local storage; nothing is sent to a server.

    How to use it

    1. Timer: pick 25/5 (classic) or 50/10 (deep work), add what you're working on in Tasks, and press Start — or hit Space.
    2. Sounds: slide up brown noise or rain to mask distractions. Mix as many layers as you like.
    3. Breathe: between sessions, run a few 4-4-4-4 box-breathing cycles to reset.
    4. Stats: watch your daily streak grow — sessions are logged automatically when the timer completes.
